We Need You

Operation Oktoberfest

Help us bring the Team Fortress 2 Voice Actors here to the UK!

We’re on a mission to get the Team Fortress 2 voice actors to attend a
future MCM event, preferably London in October 2025.

MCM Saturday Valve Meet

During our Saturday Valve meet, we had a special announcement made by the TF2 Youtuber Shork

We got to hear Robin Atkin Downes speak to us all as Medic, revealing to us a sneak-peak at Shork’s latest TF2 video project, Meet The Real Medic. That announcement would have been fantastic on its own, but it’s what Robin says afterwards that is especially important to us.

“If you want to see me at MCM around my favourite time, OKTOBERFEST! All you have to do, tell them you want to see me in October!”

The TF2 voice actors want to visit us here in the UK, but we need your help to make it happen!

The agents managing the Team Fortress 2 voice actor event appearances have reached out to MCM, but ReedPop aren’t convinced that there’s enough demand for these guests. So, we need you all to make some noise to get them to see how much we’d love to see them here in the UK!

After London MCM in May 2025, all attendees will receive a feedback survey from MCM / Reedpop. Within this survey is a section where you can let them know what guests you’d like to see at future events. We need all of you to suggest:

  • Robin Atkin Downes (Medic)
  • John Patrick (Sniper)
  • Ellen McLain (The Administrator)
  • Gary Schwartz (Heavy & Demoman)
  • Dennis Bateman (Spy & Pyro)

This survey is typically sent out 1-2 weeks after the event, so keep an eye out in your inbox!

MCM / Reedpop also enable you to suggest a guest via this email. This can be done at any time, but please don’t spam them with multiple repeat emails.

MCMLondonOctober@ReedExpo.co.uk

We’ve created a basic template for this email, however please edit it to ensure it is unique. They may start blocking them if they’re all the same.

The Valve Conventions Cosplayers group has been steadily growing, with us reaching a whopping eighty five cosplayers at a single meet-up in October 2024. We know the demand is there, and despite trying to reach out to MCM in the past via socials we’ve not had any luck. However, we want to keep trying for all of you who show up year after year due to your love for this eighteen year old game.

So, if you’d like to help us, please fill in that MCM feedback survey and let your voice be heard!

A Special thank you to Cola Carnage for the amazing artwork in this announcement.
